Hey there,

David here.

Some of the most useful conversations I had last year happened around a dinner table in San Francisco.

It was the week of Sculpt (the yearly Clay conference). I had booked one long table and invited people who work in GTM. Founders, operators, partners. There was no agenda, just the table and people who do this work every day.

What happened at that table

The conversations were the practical kind. How people build outbound today. What clients actually pay for. What is changing in the work, and what has stayed the same.

I met a lot of great people that evening, and several of those conversations are still going a year later. A few of them turned into things we are working on now.

That is the reason we are doing it again.

This year: the 7th at 7

Sculpt is on Thursday, October 8. The dinner is the night before.

  • Wednesday, October 7, 7pm
  • San Francisco, venue picked together in the group
  • hosted by Matteo and me

Last year I gave the group a few venue options and let people choose. It worked, and people felt part of the evening before it started. So we are keeping that. The where gets decided together once we know who is coming.

Matteo is hosting with me this time. It is the first dinner we do as Kinetyca, and the first one with both of us at the table.

How to join

There is no RSVP link. Reply to this email and tell me you want in. I will add you to the LinkedIn group chat where we sort out the venue and the details together.

If you are in San Francisco for Sculpt or Tech Week and you work in GTM, this table is for you. Matteo and I are in the city from October 5 to 11, so if the dinner does not fit, say so in the reply and we will find another slot to meet.

PS. If you cannot make San Francisco but want to talk through your GTM setup, book a call with us here
