What it means
Account-based marketing (ABM) is a B2B approach that picks a list of named target accounts first, then aims sales and marketing at those accounts together. The team decides up front which companies matter, researches each one, and coordinates ads, content, email, LinkedIn and calls around them.
That reverses the usual funnel, where leads are generated broadly and filtered later. Programmes run at three levels: one-to-one for a handful of key accounts, one-to-few for small clusters of similar accounts, and one-to-many for a larger tiered list.
How we use it
ABM is one of our three service lines. We tier the account list first, then let signals decide which accounts move this week. Accounts that fit the ICP with no event yet run as steady targeted outbound.
When a signal fires, the account is enriched in Clay, checked against the CRM and routed to a play with an owner. For KlientBoost that produced 11+ automated ABM plays. The model behind it is in signal-based selling, and the service is on our marketing page.
