What it means
Data enrichment adds missing information to the records you already have. A list of names and company domains goes in. Job titles, verified emails, phone numbers, LinkedIn URLs, company size, funding, tech stack and recent news come out.
Enrichment draws on data providers, public sources and web scraping. It turns a raw list into one a team can score, route and write to. People change jobs and companies change shape, so enriched data goes stale and needs refreshing on a schedule.
How we use it
Enrichment sits after sourcing and before scoring in every system we build. Sourcing runs cheapest first: anyone already in Supabase is reused, BlitzAPI finds the people at each account, and metered providers such as Prospeo only see who is left. Clay runs the enrichment inside the outbound motion, where it is the best tool we have for enrichment waterfalls and signal layering.
Channel choice comes after the list is enriched and scored, because the right channel depends on what the data says about each account. Every tool in the chain is on our tools page and in our guide to the GTM tech stack.
